Senator Mushahid Hussain Sayed delivered the keynote speech at Shenzhen Silk Road Cultural Forum 2017. He welcomed the peaceful rise of China as a source of strength & stability for Asia. He mentioned that China has two unique achievements - lifted over 700 million out of poverty within a generation and made the successful transition from a regional power to a global power, without use of force or hegemony or colonial domination.
