Mushahid Hussain expresses condolences to bereaved families of train accident in China

July 07, 2011 Islamabad, 25:Chairman Pakistan China Institute,Mushahid Hussain Sayed expressed his deep grievance over the casualties and conveyed his deepest condolences to the bereaved families of those killed in the train accident that happened on Saturday(23-7-11) in China, a time tested friend, brother and strategic part of Pakistan.
In his message, Mushahid Hussain said that high speed rail accident was new challenge for Chinese Rail Ministry but Ministry spared no effort to rescue the victims and all the rescue work was appraise worthy. He also added that people of Pakistan stand with their Chinese brethren in this hour of sorrow.
Chairman Pakistan China Institute also appreciated the Chinese Leadership that ordered to make rescue work a priority after the bullet train derailing accident late Saturday in east China's Zhejiang Province.
The accident occurred after high-speed train D3115 was hit by lightning and lost drive, and then rear-ended at 8:27 p.m. Saturday by another bullet train D301.

By 3:30 a.m. Sunday, the accident in the city of Wenzhou killed 32 people and injured 191 others.
