Senator Mushahid says Completion of Western Route of CPEC Govt's top priority

Chairman Parliamentary Committee on China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC ) Mushahid Hussain Sayed says the completion of Western Route of CPEC is top most priority of the government.

Talking to Radio Pakistan correspondent Sophia Siddiqui, he said the route will be completed by August 2018.

Mushahid Hussain Sayed said initially the Western Route will comprise of four lanes and later it would be widened to six lanes.

To a question, he said eastern route of the Corridor will be completed by 2019. He pointed out that Gwadar Port will be axis of the corridor which will connect Pakistan with the Central Asian countries.

To another question, Mushahid Hussain Sayed said the Parliamentary Committee on China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC ) is in contact with all provinces.
