Senator Mushahid Hussain wishes 66th Happy Independence to Chinese people

Islamabad, October 1, 2015 is the 66th birthday of the People's Republic of China, a day to celebrate China's march towards independence, economic growth and tremendous achievements in various sectors of life, Senator Mushahid Hussain, Chairman of the Parliamentary Committee on China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) and Chairman, Senate Defence Committee,  said in his congratulatory message on China's National Day.

"I am delighted to extend my best wishes and congratulations to the people of China as you celebrate your National Day on October 1", Senator Mushahid said.

I am glad to say that the relationship between China and Pakistan has grown in multifold since 1951. We have worked together to forge a mature relationship, one that recognizes that economic prosperity is our top objective, that a prosperous China is good for the Pakistan, and a stable as well as strong Pakistan is good for China.

Pakistan China  Economic Corridor (CPEC) is a meaningful step in expanding our positive and comprehensive cooperation, including by elevating our shared interest in cooperation in various fields. Equally important are the strong bonds between our students and scholars, our scientists, and our business communities.

On this 66th National Day, please know that the Pakistan,  wishes you a joyous holiday celebration with friends and family.
