Leader of Xinjiang Delegation gifts 300 Chinese books to Roots School Library

Islamabad Feb 19: Leader of Xinjiang Delegation Mr.Qiaojifu gifted 300 Chinese books to Roots School System Library during a Pakistan China Friendship Conference held in Islamabad on Saturday.

Pakistan China Friendship Conference was jointly organized by Pakistan China Institute and Roots School System in the farewell of 22 members Xinjiang Delegation visiting Pakistan on the invitation Pakistan China Institute.

The colourful ceremony coined with music and dances by RSS Students was organized at Islamabad Club auditorium crowded with delegates from Xinjiang, diplomats, politicians, civil society, prominent personalities, students, scholars and media persons.

Mr.Qiaojifu, leader of Xinjiang Delegation and Deputy President of People’s Congress Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region, speaking at Pakistan China Friendship Conference appreciated the warm hospitality extended by the people of Pakistan during their stay in Pakistan.

“Impressive and wonderful cultural performances by the students of Chinese Languages at RSS, are one of the most memorable things we taking to Xinjiang from Pakistan, he added.

Mr.Qiaojifu also lauded the vital role of Pakistan China Institute and Roots School System for boosting people to people contacts between Pakistan and China and strengthening the cultural bond of the two trusted neighbours.

Chinese Deputy Chief of Mission Mr. Huang Xi Lian appreciating the various projects of Pakistan China Institute launched to boost Pakistan China Friendship said “Mushahid Hussain is a man with vision as well as action”. Through his dedication and passion he has transformed Pakistan China Institute into an icon of Pakistan China Friendship in his private capacity.

Mushahid Hussain Sayed said Chinese Language is the way to march in 21st century with glory because 21st century is the “Century of Asia” led by China, Pakistan’s strategic cooperative partner. He also commended the endeavors of Faisal Mushtaq and thanked the Xinjiang Delegation.

Faisal Mushtaq, CEO of Roots School System said 21% youth of China and Pakistan is blessed with immense potential that can create marvels in the world if opportunities were provided to them. Roots School System is a pioneer school in Pakistan where Chinese Language is being taught at school levels with the cooperation of China Radio International.

Amid grand applause of clapping, Mushahid Hussain Sayed Chairman Pakistan China Institute also gifted Commendation Certificates to RSS participants over their mesmerizing performances for the Xinjiang.
